Jade Goody Invitation letters have been sent out to young women aged 17 - 18 years who   were born between 1 September 1990 and 31 August 1991 to receive the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Vaccination in the Practice to help reduce the risk and incidence of cervical cancer. Other young people aged 17 years and younger will be routinely vaccinated in their school. The HPV has a three dose schedule given at 0, 1-2 months and 6 months. Our Health Visitors are moving their base to Garstang Health Centre but will still continue to give our patients the same care including baby clinics. As a Practice we will continue to monitor the service and are still meeting with North Lancashire Primary Care Trust to ensure the best possible care for Great Eccleston Patients.
